What you’ll do: Build a FlowAgent, define its tool allowlist, run it against live devices, and review execution in the audit trail.

Configuration Compliance

Run a compliance audit, watch violations get categorized and documented automatically, see a ServiceNow change request open with the findings, and watch Itential remediate, re-verify, and close the ticket – no manual steps.

What you’ll do: Trigger a compliance audit, review the auto-generated change record, observe remediation execute, and confirm ticket closure.

Software Lifecycle Management

Trigger a software upgrade workflow that opens the change request, backs up the config, validates device health, executes the upgrade, verifies the new version, and closes the ticket – with every step documented automatically.

What you’ll do: Trigger an upgrade workflow, observe pre/post-check execution, watch the ServiceNow ticket update at each stage, and confirm closure.

Security & Firewall Automation

Submit a firewall rule request and watch Itential open the change record, check for duplicates in Panorama, create the rule with proper naming, commit and push to firewalls, verify it’s in place, and close the ticket.

What you’ll do: Submit a rule request, watch duplicate checking and rule creation execute, and review the completed change record.

Cloud & Infrastructure as Code

Trigger an OpenTofu deployment through Itential’s governed execution layer, provisioning a VPC, EC2 instance, and security groups – with a ServiceNow change request opened, validated, and closed with full documentation.

What you’ll do: Trigger a cloud provisioning workflow, watch OpenTofu execute via Itential, validate AWS resources, and review the change record.

Multi-Domain Orchestration

Trigger a VIP provisioning workflow that reserves IPs in Infoblox, creates the F5 pool, configures the VIP, documents everything to the ServiceNow change ticket, and closes it — coordinated across three tools in one governed execution.

What you’ll do: Trigger the provisioning workflow, observe it coordinate across IPAM, load balancer, and ITSM, and review the change record.
Systems used: Infoblox, F5, ServiceNow
